Accepting New Clients
My role as a registered associate is to work with you through challenging life experiences, providing a safe space for you to put into words what is in your heart . The relationship we build is an essential part of the healing process. I will provide support, encouragement, and strategies along the way.
In addition to working as a K-5 school counselor for the past 10 years, I worked in recreational therapy, behavior therapy and as a classroom teacher, providing children and their families problem solving skills to help in all areas of their lives. As a former special education teacher, I have experience developing behavioral interventions and carefully designed education plans.
I am familiar with a variety of counseling modalities, including outdoor therapy, art therapy, mindfulness, grief and loss, mediating family systems, cognitive behavior theory, play therapy, and motivational interviewing.
